A vintage pincushion made from a section of tree trunk or branch with the bark still on it.
The pincushion is about 3 1/2” tall and 2 3/4” across the base.
The fabric on top is an old brownish cotton.
There is some writing on the top edge that I cannot read. It is likely a souvenir from a northern place in US or Canada.
Some writing on the bottom as well.
There are a couple of tight cracks pretty much across from each other at the top near the cushion. The wood is, however, very stable and the bark intact.
In very nice vintage condition.
