Vintage Pine Needle Sweet Grass Pincushion Velvet Tomato

A vintage velvet pincushion in the shape of a tomato that is set into a basket-like holder that is made of pine needles and sweet grass.
The basket is about 4” at the base, with a 3” opening at the top where the pin cushion rests.
The pin cushion is a pinkish red velvet in the traditional tomato form. It is flipped over so the green leafy part is underneath.
The basket is in really nice vintage condition, with no apparent damage.
The pincushion is very lightly faded, but in very nice condition also. Many colorful pins, as found.
A nice, vintage piece for the sewing or basket collector.
