Primitive Winter Scene Painting Grist Mill 1953

A painting of what appears to be a grist mill in winter. Snow and bare trees. Primitive or naive in style, or maybe just Bad Art. It is initialed "JB' on the bottom right front. On the cardboard backing is written "Painted By Jean Bernath 1953" in red pencil.

The painting is on canvas board measuring 9" X 12" and has a thin wooden frame. Some soiling on the snow areas.

Odd piece in good vintage condition.
